Tal Shemtov, Trial Attorney

Attorney Tal Shemtov is senior managing partner at Shemtov & Hillstrom, PLLC. She graduated summa cum laude from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor in Arts degree in Political Science. Tal obtained her juris doctor degree from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. Tal is a member of the Florida Bar and the Southern District of Florida federal bar, actively practicing in federal court.

Prior to becoming a partner at Shemtov & Hillstrom, Tal worked at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor. She tried hundreds of cases as an Assistant State Attorney, giving her insight into both sides of the courtroom, extensive courtroom litigation experience, and strong bonds with local judges and courts. Tal has been in private practice since 2009, and has had significant trial experience in complex cases — both civil and criminal.
